ATHLETICS: OLIVIA Renshaw caused a sensation as she led Vale Royal Ladies to the Staffs Cross-Country League Second Division title on Sunday.
And junior Victoria Jones took an individual title outright.
She beat Staffs county champion Amanda Dalkins.
Claire Thompson, Caroline Winder, Helen Fowles, Nicky Archer, Siobhan Tarbuck, Val Kinvig and Pauline Davies completed the ladies' team. Kinvig won the bronze medal ion her age group.
But there was more success in the women's U17s and U15s competitions for Vale Royal.
They were also title winners and in the team, with their weekend finishing positions, were Becky Ellis 2, Vicky Walls 4, Emma Coxon 6, Lucy Knight 8 and Kate Spilsbury 9.
Victoria Jones won the U15s championship in style. Sharing the glory were Corinne Kinvig, Louise Bosson, Hanna Weedall and Emily Deaman.
Kate Howard was sixth in the U13s and Steven Mitchell fifth in the U17s.
