West Cheshire AC teams celebrated medal performances at the Cheshire Track Relay Championships.

Danielle Erskine, Alice McMahon, Ali Burkett and Olivia Montez-Brown combined to earn the Stanney Oaks- based club success in the senior ladies 4x100m relay in  50.4 seconds at Warrington’s Victoria Park.

Ewan Bradley, Daniel Pagan, Jacob Simmonds and Michael Ozoemelam teamed up to earn victory for their club in the U13 boys 4x100m relay with 54.0 seconds.

Emily Misantoni, Anna Crayston and Ellie Finn ensured WCAC won the U13 girls 3x800m relay in  7:23.3.

Sonny Dean, Jack Chapman and Harvey Tegg pointed West Cheshire to second spot with a time of 7:23.3 in the U13 boys 3x800m.

Emma Ashcroft, Cerys Gaffney, Kate Braley and Sophie Cribb ran to silvers with a time of 63.5 seconds in the U11 girls 4x100m relay.

Dylan Bugg, Ethan Butler and Zak Edwards teamed up for silver in the U11 boys 3x600m relay in 5:58.6.

Michael Maxwell, Noah Barnsley, Zak Edwards and Dylan Bugg secured  bronze  in a time of 62.1 seconds in the U11 boys 4x100m relay.

WCAC’s 3x600m U11 girls team finished fourth in 6:36.0, and the West Cheshire U13 girls 4x100m team of Anna Crayston, Emily Misantoni, Lily O’Gorman and Evie Tipping finished fifth in 59.2 seconds.

Elsewhere, brothers Sonny and Zak Dean secured success at the Leigh Harriers Open Track Meeting.

Younger brother Zak won gold in all three of his events after posting 12.02 seconds in the under nine boys 75m, clocking two minutes four seconds in the 600m, and long jumping 3.15m.

Sonny, who is now worried about Zak breaking all his age group records when he competes for the club next year, rounded the under 13 boys 800m in a winning time of 2:23.8.

Fixtures this weekend include the North of England Inter Counties Track and Field Championships at Derby on Saturday; and the Teggs Nose Fell Race, at Macclesfield, also on Saturday (2.30pm start).

The Pie and Peas Five Miles Road Race at Moulton, near Winsford, is on Wednesday, (August 6), 7.30pm start, the same day as the Ponderosa Fell Race, near Llangollen (7pm start).

The third round of the Deestriders Off Road Grand Prix Race Series is on Thursday, (August 7), from Tata Sports Club, Shotton (7.30pm start).
