Ibrar Latif netted an absolute gem for second-placed Ramblers, whose scoring was completed by Andy Hayton, Ali Ghazanfar (2), the in-form Tom Armitage and Matt Cocks.
Derrick Millard-Smith was in the thick of the action as Ramblers 2nds made hard work of winning 4-3 at home to West Derby.

Colin Bona hit a hat-trick as Ramblers 6ths won 5-1 at home to Chester 6ths but the 7ths were on the end of a 10-1 beating at Chester 7ths.
Ramblers Ladies lost 1-0 at Harrogate Ladies.
Huw Barrett and Neil MacLeod were on target as Chester drew their third successive North West League Division Two (West) match, 2-2 at Neston South Wirral on Saturday.
