TABLE TENNIS: Ford A have taken over at the top of Halton Table Tennis League's Division One after a win over rivals Runcorn Sports Club A, Mal McEvoy and Phil Luxon remaining unbeaten.
Widnes Rec B defeated Runcorn Sports Club C and drew with Runcorn Sports Club B, Peter Findlater picking up a treble.
Widnes Rec A had a Scott Robertson treble in victory at Ford B.
Frodsham B were held to a draw by Pilkington A and this result enabled Halton Seniors A to move into second spot in Division Two with a win over an Andy Woodyatt-inspired Pavilions A.
Pavilions A were held to a draw by Widnes Rec E despite Woodyatt again remaining unbeaten.
Widnes Rec D had a Bernard Keogh treble in their defeat of Eli Lilly.
Division Three's Halton Club A picked up wins over Pavilions B and Farnworth to take over the leadership with one game left. Mark Roscaleer, Dave Higginson and Graham Gould scored trebles.
The game to decide the title will be against Sutton Leisure who also defeated Farnworth as their trio of Rachel and Neil Baker plus Steve Williams produced an unbeaten display.
Pavilions B overcame their C team, despite a Les Illidge hat-trick. Sutton Leisure have reached the Team Handicap final with a close win over Halton Club A and they will meet Ford A or Ford B.
