ELLESMERE Port and Willaston failed to book cup final places on Saturday.
Both sides were in action in the semi-finals of the Pyke Cup, but Ellesmere Port went down 2-1 to Maghull and Willaston lost 2-0 to Newton.
Peter McNulty was the man on target for the Port.
In Division Two of the West Cheshire League, lowly Capenhurst Villa lost 2-0 at home to Richmond Raith Rovers.
Villa’s second string fared little better in Division Three, going down 1-0 at Mersey Royal.
In the Youth Division, goals from Greg Killen and Andy Jones saw Ellesmere Port draw 2-2 with Runcorn Linnets.
