ELLESMERE Port teams celebrated success at the Chester & District Junior League finals weekend at the home of Chester FC.
Hope Farm got the ball rolling with a 2-1 triumph over Westminster Park Lions in the Under 11s Shield before Princes Villa held their nerve to win the U16s Cup 5-3 on penalties after their final against Newton Athletic ended 2-2 after extra-time.
Groves rounded off a weekend to remember for junior football in the Port when they thrashed Upton 4-1 to get their hands on the U15s Shield.
Four other Port sides were also in action at the Exacta Stadium.
Princes Villa went down 2-0 to Christleton New Scene in the U9s Cup, Ellesmere Port were beaten 3-0 by Blacon Youth in the U12s Cup, Princes Villa fell 4-1 to Newton Athletic Eagles in the U10s Shield and Hope Farm Rangers lost 4-1 to Westminster Park Warriors in the U16s Shield.
