VAUXHALL Motors’ work in the community has been boosted by the award of a £15,000 grant.

The Ellesmere Port club has received backing from the Football Conference Trust, a charity supported by the Premier League and the Professional Footballers’ Association.

The Trust offers grant aid to Football Conference clubs to help and support community activity.

To mark the grant support they have been awarded for their community work in the 2012/13 season, Motors mascot Griff the Griffinwelcomed Trust chairman Brian Lee to Rivacre Park for Monday’s game against Droylsden.
