ELLESMERE Port emerged on the winning end of a seven-goal thriller with Cammell Laird Reserves.

Strikes by Ryan Nicoll, Mark Jones, Richard Feighton and Mike Campbell gave the Port a 4-3 win in Division One of the West Cheshire League.

Vauxhall Motors Reserves chalked up a 5-2 home win over Newton. Christian Benesko, Josh Walsh, Sean Keevey and Craig Cairns (2) got the goals.

A Jamie Gardner goal secured lowly Willaston a 1-1 home draw with West Kirby.

In Division Two, Capenhurst Villa drew 2-2 at New Brighton. Mike Urmston and Rob McDowell netted.
