GRACE Arms Reserves lifted the Kingkabs Cup on Sunday.

They claimed a 5-2 win over Cheshire Yeoman in the final, played at Groves Sports and Social Club.

S Jones, K Leech, D Greenaway and C Hughes bagged the Grace goals, with L Reynolds (2) replying.

Elsewhere in the Ellesmere Port Sunday League, Westminster fell to a 2-1 loss at Cat in the Premier Division. C Lloyd and J Eccleston scored for Cat, with Danny Page replying.

White Swan overcame RWJ 4-3, their goals coming from Dave Hodgson, Terry Watt, Danny McKevitt and Stu Booth. Lee Primrose, Ryan Foster and Jason Dodson were the RWJ marksmen.

Joe Leask’s brace helped Woodlands Athletic to a 2-0 success over Woodlands.

In the day’s only Division One fixture, Travellers Rest ran out 7-1 winners over Hope Farm Rangers.

Mark Winsdale netted twice for Vauxhall Motors Reserves on Saturday to help his side to a big home win.

The Motormen defeated Upton AA 4-2 in Division One of the West Cheshire League. Alex Clare and an own goal accounted for Vauxhall’s other goals.

In Division Two, Capenhurst Villa experienced mixed results this week. On Saturday they lost 2-0 at home to Richmond Raith Rovers but they bounced back on Monday evening, running out 5-1 winners at home to Prescot Cables Reserves. Jack Sheppard (2), Simon Thelwell-Wilson (2) and John Wainwright got their goals.

In Division Three, Ellesmere Port Reserves suffered a double defeat. A 6-2 loss at Redgate Rovers on Saturday was followed on Monday by a 3-0 home loss to Chester Nomads Reserves.
