CAPENHURST Villa booked their place in round two of the Cheshire Amateur Cup with a big away win on Saturday.

A hat-trick from Mike Urmston and a goal from Mark McAffrey helped Villa to a 4-2 victory over Cheshire League side Tarporley Victoria.

Vauxhall Motors Reserves also progressed in the same competition, beating Rudheath Social Club 2-1.

In Saturday’s West Cheshire League action, Mike Jones netted for Ellesmere Port in a 1-1 home draw with Marshalls in Division One.

Rob Manning (2) and Dave McElroy scored for Port’s reserves in Division Three as they won 3-0 at AFC Bebington Reserves, while Capenhurst Reserves lost 1-0 at Merseyside Police.
