VAUXHALL Motors Reserves continued their free-scoring start to the West Cheshire League Division One season on Saturday.

They won 6-0 at Upton AA to take their goal tally up to 13 in three games.

Jorden Brierley (3) hit a hat-trick for Motors, with Ian Burrows, Tom Craig and Graeme Davidson also getting in on the act.

Ellesmere Port are still without a win after they went down 2-0 at home to early leaders Chester Nomads on Friday.

The following afternoon Willaston recorded their second victory of the Division Two campaign.

They won 4-2 at Mersey Royal with goals from Tom Kidd, Trevor Worsley, Mark Nokes and Dayo Akinlabi.

Capenhurst Villa are still searching for their first win after they were beaten 2-1 at home by Heswall Reserves.

Mark Ryan was on target for Villa.

There were Division Three defeats for Ellesmere Port Reserves and Neston Nomads.

Steve Cooke reduced the arrears as Port fell 4-1 at home to Gateacre while Kevin Connors netted Neston’s consolation in their 3-1 home loss to Redgate Rovers.

The previous night Capenhurst Villa lost 3-2 at home to Widnes Town.

Tom Hockley and Danny Higginson shared the strikes for the hosts.

Whitby Athletic are off to a flyer in the Chester & District League Premier Division.

They drew their opening game 2-2 at home to defending champions Kelsall, with Josh Wonderley and Daniel Norris getting their goals, before they went to Raby Villa on Saturday and won 5-1.

Woodlands Santos lost 6-0 at home to Lache in Division One on the same afternoon.

Paul Fixter and Ken Lewis replied for Neston Nomads in their 3-2 Division Two loss at Shippons.
