THERE was a packed programme in the Ellesmere Port Sunday League over the weekend.

On Friday, four Premier Division games took place.

Grace Arms (K Leach 3, J Watts) ran out 4-1 winners at A&J Aquatics (P Qulliams) while Thorne Plumbing & Heating cruised to a 4-0 victory at home to Woodlands.

There were 2-1 triumphs for Cat (M Simmons, J Eccleston), at home to RWJ FC (I Primrose), and Westminster (Jack Nickson, Carl Ngian), away to White Swan (Lee Chadwick).

FC Saviours (C Wyn 2, M Cartwright 2, R Griffiths) were the big hitters in Division One, winning 5-0 at Hope Farm Rangers.

There were wins for Travellers Rest (S Sales 2), 2-1 at SCFC 94 (John Gibbs), and Cheshire Yeoman (S Hicks, A Walter, J Johnson), 3-2 at Thorne Plumbing & Heating Reserves.

Three further Division One matches were staged on Sunday.

There was another 3-2 victory for Yeoman (Hicks 3), at home to Sutton Marquis.

Saviours (Paul Butler 2, Mason Cartwright) drew 3-3 at home to SCFC (Gibbs, Steven Millichap, Danny Carroll) while Tony Ashton hit a hat-trick as Thorne won 5-0 at Hope Farm.
