GOALS by Richie Feightman and Mark Price were not enough for Ellesmere Port on Saturday as they tumbled to defeat in the West Cheshire League.

Port went down 4-2 at Heswall in Division One and remain in the lower half of the table.

Vauxhall Motors Reserves also lost on their travels.

They went down 3-1 at Chester Nomads, Craig Cairns netting for the visitors.

Willaston’s chances of escaping relegation were dealt a blow when they lost 4-1 in their tough assignment away to leaders Ashville. Trevor Worsley scored the Willaston goal.

In Division One, Capenhurst Villa Reserves had to be content with a 1-1 draw at basement side Marshalls Reserves. Mike Urmston was on target for mid-table Cape.

In Division Three, there was no joy for Cape’s reserve side as they lost 3-1 at home to Merseyside Police. The hosts’ consolation goal was scored by Matty Concannon.

Leaders South Liverpool were far too strong for Ellesmere Port Reserves, sweeping to a 9-0 success over the third-from-bottom visitors.

Neston Nomads, who are second-from-bottom, did not play.
