THE countdown to the Cheshire Youth Games is well under way.
At the Civic Hall tomorrow, more than 40 volunteers, sponsors and partners will join forces to discuss any last-minute ideas and hand over the team kits for the event.
The Ellesmere Port and Neston borough sponsor, Shell UK, will be providing words of support and encouragement to those taking part.
The Games are organised by the Sport Cheshire Partnership and provide an opportunity for young people between the ages of nine and 19 to compete in 21 different competitions within 10 sports, representing the borough in which they live or go to school.
This year's tournament will be held on Saturday, June 23, at Cheshire Oaks High School.
