CHESTER Rugby Club are the National League Three North champions!

The Hare Lane outfit sealed the title and promotion to the fourth tier of English rugby union with a 51-20 home win over Rossendale on Saturday.

Chester head coach Nic Corrigan said: “We’ve been rewarded for playing such attacking rugby.

“To be champions is just brilliant.

“It was a spectacular day.”
