A DRAMATIC 95th minute winner gave the Motormen their first league victory in six games after they earlier threw away a half-time lead, conceding two goals in as many minutes.

The home side twice went close early on through Lee Furlong, but he fired one shot across goal before directing a header wide.

Vauxhall grabbed the lead on 34 minutes when Kevin Lynch fed Terry Fearns on the left flank and Fearns' cross was fired home by Nicky Young.

The introduction of livewire subsitute Lee McEvilly sparked the home side into life after the break and he equalised with a superb solo goal on 55 minutes.

McEvilly cut through four Vauxhall defenders before despatching a low shot into the bottom left hand corner of Steve Hilton's goal.

The Motormen were rocked again just two minutes later as Furlong's half volley from Paul Taylor's knock-down squirmed through Hilton's hands for a second goal.

But Matt Haddrell, again playing in midfield, put Vauxhall level on 65 minutes with a header from Robbie Lawton's deep right wing cross.

The hosts pushed forward in the final minutes but Hilton kept them out with a series of good saves, including a flying effort to tip a McEvilly shot around the post. But deep into stoppage time the Motormen broke away to clinch the three points.

Lawton crossed to Lynch, who delivered a bullet match-winning header.
