A WHOLE host of fighters from Vauxhall Motors ABC were in action when the club staged a show at Destiny & Elite.

A crowd of 300-400 turned up at the Ellesmere Port nightclub to show their support.

Vauxhall boxers were involved in 14 of the 16 fights on the night.

Those in the schoolboy age range were first up, but the five Vauxhall lads – Tony Moore, Connor Leatt, Connor Bisland, James Delaney and Jordan Pleavin – all ended up on the losing side.

Vauxhall junior Nathan Morgan also lost out before the senior fighters – those aged 17 or above – took to the ring.

David Sheils succumbed to Middleton ABC’s Haroon Rashid before Nathan Cartwright was beaten by an opponent from Stockbridge ABC.

But the evening finished on a high as Vauxhall boxers won three of the final four bouts.

Alex Foulkes overcame Alex Rutter from Middleton ABC and Edward Thomson got the better of Belle Vale ABC’s Liam Milner over four, two-minute rounds.

Although Carl McLeod lost out to Anthony Jevons of Golden Gloves ABC, Wayne Adeniyi rounded the evening off with a victory over Colin Moseley on Shotton ABC over three, three-minute rounds.
