Background: Born in Chester and brought up in Little Sutton, Leedham’s love of basketball flourished at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School. From playing for the Ellesmere Port Panthers, she progressed to the college circuit in America where she broke numerous records. Played last season for the Bulleen Boomers in Australia.
In action: Team GB have been drawn in Group B. To make it through to the quarter-finals, they must get through a group which includes games against Australia (July 28, 10.15pm); Canada (July 30, 8pm); Russia (August 1, 4.45pm); France (August 3, 8pm); and Brazil (August 5, 10.15pm).
