SELECTED members of Halton & Frodsham Harriers pulled on county vests at the weekend.
They travelled to the NEC in Birmingham for the National Sportshall Athletics Championships.
The Harriers athletes had qualified for the end-of-season event at the North West regional finals.
They put up some strong challenges and scored some good point for the county.
Harriers individual results – U13 boys: Jacob Birtles (six-lap, 12th, 1:20.0s; speed bounce, 10th, 82); James Ennis (high jump, 6th, 1.46m); Chris Larkin (high jump, 21st, 1.30m); Luca Tron (four-lap, 15th, 50.0s; long jump, 12th, 2.26m); Luke Southerton (vertical jump, 17th, 51cm). U15 boys: Ben Sutcliffe (two-lap, 22nd, 22.0s; triple jump, 19th, 7.32m; speed bounce, 7th, 82).
