YOUNG sportspeople rose to the occasion when Brookvale Recreation Centre in Runcorn played host to the Halton Community Games.
Youth clubs entered teams, who competed at cricket, basketball and football.
Fourteen to 16-year-olds who will represent the borough at the Merseyside Community Games on August 15 are West Runcorn, Streets Team Moody Blues and Halton Brook.
