Pat's Angels sealed a second successive win, this time against The Flights. But the margins were fine with the Angels triumphing 4-3 in the League and 3-2 in the Challenge.

Lyn Conlan (Angels) and Flights' Sue Evans both had three-figure visits.

Dock Ladies climbed into third position in the League with a 5-2 defeat of Pavilions Wanderers. Hitting the ton trail for Dock were Freda Bate and Collette Bate (twice) but Wanderers recovered for a 3-2 Challenge win.

Despite falling 3-4 to Tranny All Stars in the Brow versus Halton Brook derby, Burma Star remain top of Section Two.

Freda Perry and Irene Curbishley hit hundreds as Burma bounced back for a 4-1 win.

Ex-Pat's were lying three across with Fe-Lions when the former's captain Gina Plant took the final leg.

Fe-Lions responded with a 4-1 Challenge success. Ton-up stars of these games were Sarah Roberts for Ex-Pat's and Fe-Lions duo June Perry and Tracey Perry.

Hitting 100 for Barge in 5-2, 4-1 victories over Clarry Girls were Lisa Keelan and captain Julie Rimmer.

Crafty Crofters took the League points against Wellington by the narrowest margin but Welly answered with a 3-2 Challenge victory which was inspired by tons from Val Pimlett and A Thornhill.

Raven downed Pavilions 5-2 in the League but in the Challenge the Weston Point team won 3-2. Raven's Ros Davies hit a hundred.
