A BISHOPS’ Blue Coat High side made it a memorable hat-trick during the Chester Schools’ FA 11-a-side cup finals week.

The aces beat Upton High 3-2 in the Year 11 showpiece, making it the third time they have won their age group since coming together five years ago.

Christleton High were the big winners of the week.

The school claimed the Year 7 crown with an 8-0 win over Upton and the Year 8 prize too with a 6-1 success over Bishop Heber High.

Bishop Heber and Upton were the Year 9 and Year 10 winners with 4-0 and 5-2 victories respectively.

Christleton provided the opposition in both finals.

The King’s School Chester, who hosted the finals, won the sixth form title with a 2-0 triumph over Bishop Heber.
