FORMER Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore was the star attraction as Upton JFC held their annual presentation day at Chester Rugby Club’s Hare Lane home.

Around 275 players, ranging from five years of age to 16, were honoured for the part they played in helping make it the most successful season in the club’s history.

Moore was on hand to out trophies to the club’s Under 14s side.

The award winners from each of Upton’s age groups are listed below.

U6s: Player of the Season – Josh Turner; Most Improved Player – Luke Green. U7s: Player – Paddy Lally; Most Improved – Samuel Gomiak. U8s Panthers: Player – Rocco Hewitt; Most Improved – Sam Rockall. U8s Pumas: Player – Ben Kelly; Most Improved – Daniel Gallagher. U9s Panthers: Player – Sam Munro; Most Improved – George Hughes. U9s Pumas: Player – Skye Darlington; Most Improved – Rees Fuller.

U10s Panthers: Player – Sean Moscrop; Most Improved – Matthew Jones. U10s Jaguars: Player – Aiden Roxburgh; Most Improved – Sam Ismay. U11s (Ellesmere Port Junior League): Player – Austin Turner; Most Improved – George Smith. U11s (Chester & District Junior League): Player – Ben Woodman; Most Improved – Will Hardy. U12s (EPJL): Player – Oliver Knight, Jake Stanley; Most Improved – Bradley Davies. U12s (C&DJL): Player – Alex Harley; Most Improved – Josh Gaulton.
