HONOURS were even when Waverton Wasps took on Westminster Park in the Chester Junior League.

The Under 9s Cup (B Division) match ended 1-1, Johnny Rawcliffe putting the Wasps ahead before Ben Marsland equalised.

Man of the match (MoM) trophies went to Daniel Attwater (Waverton) and Marsland (Westminster).

Upton Pumas drew 1-1 with Chester Nomads, whose scorer was Tom Fisher. Their MoM was Henry Blance.

In the U9s Shield, Saughall Colts lost 3-1 to Princess Villa Colts. Mark Bradley netted for the Colts but Villa hit back through Ben Walters (2) and Jake Doug.

Joe Stockley scored the winner and took home the MoM award as Upton Panthers beat Waverton Bees 1-0. MoM for the Bees was Jack Furmston.

In the U10s Cup (A Division), goals by George Lowndes (3), Ollie Parr and Callum Woosey gave Westminster Park Panthers a 5-2 win over Upton Panthers. MoM was Rhys Schofield.

Blacon Youth Tigers ran out 6-1 winners over Helsby with goals by Dane Cowley (4) and Bradley Broadbent (2). MoM for Helsby was Thomas Taylor.

In the B Division, Upton Pumas beat Chester Nomads thanks to an own goal and strikes by Paddy Lally, Luke Charlton and Casey Morley. Upton keeper Ciaran Hughes was MoM.
