Christleton High and The King’s School scooped titles at the Chester & District Schools Cross Country Championships for girls.

The races took place at Christleton High on Monday and the host school won the minors team title.

The King’s School took the team honours in the junior and intermediate categories.

There were not enough entries in the senior section to declare a winning team.

Individual honours went to Laura Roberts of Christleton High (minor), Issy Clarke of Tarporley High (junior), Jessica Renner of Christleton High (intermediate) and Alice Gooda of The Queen’s School (senior).

Pupils finishing in the top 20 qualified to represent the district.
