THE big Chester & District Junior League Under 10s Cup B clash ended even as Vicars Cross Dynamos drew 3-3 at home to Chester Nomads.

Lewis Walsh hit a hat-trick for the hosts to snare the Dynamos man-of-the-match award.

Lethal Tom Fenney (3) and MoM Louis Realff got the goals as Malpas & District Reds won 4-2 at Hawker Jets, for whom Callum McHugh and Cain Noble reduced the deficit.

Blacon Youth took over at the top of Cup A with a 2-1 triumph at Waverton Jets.

Tarvin drew 1-1 at Christleton Newscene in Cup C.

Newton Athletic Eagles moved above Helsby and into pole position in Shield A with a 4-3 away win.

Harry Tilston, Callum Handley and Max Jones were on target for previous pacesetters Helsby, for whom Oliver Rogers was named star man.

MoM Will Halewood fired Malpas & District Blacks to a 2-1 victory at Groves Athletic in Group B.

Waverton Bullets had a scare in Group C. After four straight wins, the leaders looked to be heading to their first defeat of the season when they trailed at Princes Villa to a Ted Kelleway strike.

But they showed the spirit of champions to snatch a late equaliser and earn a 1-1 draw.

Jordan Worrall was the Villa MoM.

Vicars Cross Colts won 2-1 at Elton Youth, for whom Sam Arundel struck and Elliott Deakin was the MoM.
