SATURDAY’S big Chester & District Junior League Under 10s Yellow Division battle between Blacon Youth Whites and Vicars Cross Dynamos ended in a 2-2 draw.

Kenny Brown and Harley Bennion were on target for table-topping Blacon, for whom Leighton Ashford was man of the match. Thomas Townsend starred for the Dynamos, for whom Alexander Haggart and Tom Walsh netted.

Westminster Park Lions powered to a 6-0 success at Upton Jaguars but Westminster Park Tigers lost 2-1 at home to Waverton Rockets.

Unstoppable Green Division leaders JFC Boughton (Taylor Williams, Tyler Woods, Joe Slawson, MoM Daniel Wait) won 4-0 at Castrol Rangers as nearest rivals Upton Panthers were held to a 3-3 home draw by Chester Nomads, for whom MoM Kieran Graham, William Burke and Jamie Fox struck. Waverton Jets won 4-0 at home to Centurions.

MoM goalkeeper Liam Davies and a Kyle Bradbourne brace could not stop Westminster Park Cougars from going down 7-2 at home to on-fire Red Division pacesetters Christleton Newscene. Upton Pumas were beaten 5-0 at home by Vauxhall Motors Corsa.

In the Blue Division, there were defeats for Malpas & District’s Reds (Lewis Neal; MoM Ed Weston), 7-1 at fellow high flyers Vauxhall Motors Astra, and Blacks (Devon Round, MoM Oscar Welsh), 3-2 at Castrol Athletic. Harvey Peacock was MoM for Elton Youth in their 5-0 home loss to Saughall Colts.
