HAWKER Jets upped their Chester & District Junior League Under 10s Yellow Division title push with a 10-0 home win over FC Porto on Saturday.

With Luke Barber producing a man-of-the-match display, the Jets cruised to victory with goals from Cain Noble (4), Sam Fowles (3), Junior Scott, Sam Williams and Ben Sinclair.

Newton Athletic remain the team to catch after they won 5-2 at Tarvin Athletic (MoM Joseph Jenks 2).

Princes Villa Colts (Patrick Webber 4, Ellis Bridger, MoM Christopher Craven, Jack Gadsby) were 7-0 winners at home to Waverton Strikers.

A Danny Reisin hat-trick and a MoM show from Dominic Ferguson could not stop Newton Athletic Eagles from going down 9-3 at home to Green Division leaders Waverton Arrows.

Led by MoM Jack Lockley, Blacon Youth ran out 9-0 winners at home to Waverton Bullets. Vicars Cross Dynamos settled for 6-0 at Vauxhall Motors Zafira.

Three teams are tied on nine points at the top of the Blue Division.

Chester Nomads (Billy Mann, Will Robinson, Tom Thurston, Tom Rowlands) hauled themselves up to the summit with a 4-0 success at Helsby, for whom Jake Cowley was MoM.

Upton Panthers are second after a 2-1 triumph at Malpas & District Reds (MoM Iwan Nevitt), but Waverton Jets are down from first to third following their 2-2 draw at Malpas & District Blacks (MoM Teddy Taylor, Aled Bennett).

Charlie Berry starred as runaway Red Division leaders Christleton Newscene (Jack Swinnerton 4, Aaron Ord) sent FC Porto packing 5-1. Callum Cope scored twice and Jake Dwyer was the MoM in unbeaten Saughall Colts’ 3-0 home win over Waverton Rockets. Upton Pumas won 4-2 at home to Vicars Cross Dynamos Colts.

Vicars Cross Dynamos drew their Under 9s Green Division top-of-the-table clash at Princes Villa 1-1 on Saturday.

Jake Mason was MoM as Saughall Colts (Zach Brookman 3, Libby Jones, Owen Gittins) won 5-4 at home to FC Porto. Malpas & District Blacks also got off the mark, winning 2-0 at home to Waverton Rockets (Louis Richardson, MoM John Wheeler).

Malpas & District Reds (Adam Dennett 4, Dominic Hudson 2, MoM Dane Tinsley, James Jacks) took over at the top of the Yellow Division with an 8-0 victory at Newton Athletic Eagles

Vicars Cross Rangers lost 4-1 at Groves Athletic.

Blue Division leaders Blacon Youth were 6-0 winners at Helsby thanks to Joe Thompson (4), Owen Jones and Jack Sconce.

Christleton Newscene (Harvey Jones, Jamie Edge) won 2-0 at Westminster Park Panthers. George Woodburn stood out for the second-placed visitors.
