ELTON Youth were celebrating on Saturday after they won 5-3 at home to Newton Athletic Eagles to record their first win of the Chester & District Junior League Under 10s Red Division season.

In a strong second-half showing from the hosts, man-of-the-match Ryan Spencer moved into midfield and hit the first hat-trick of his young career.

Mattie Collins and Aaron Catterall completed Elton’s scoring.
