Motors found their gear after the break to secure all three points and a happy trip home from Cambridge as goals from Steven Tames and Andy Nicholas gave them victory at the Glass World Stadium on Saturday.

The afternoon started badly as Histon dominated the early stages and took the lead on 15 minutes when Lewis Taaffe took advantage of a lapse in the Motors defence.

The Stutes continued to put pressure on the Vauxhall goal for the rest of the first half, but couldn't manage to get the all-important second goal.

After the break, the Motormen made them pay for their missed chances as the game turned on its head within the opening 15 minutes of the second half.

The equaliser arrived on 52 minutes through in-form Steven Tames. Matthew Kosylo did well on the left wing and his cross was turned home by Tames for his fourth goal in as many league games for Motors.

The turnaround was completed on the hour mark as Vauxhall took the lead. Again, Kosylo was the provider with more excellent work on the left, with his cross being met by the head of Andy Nicholas who nodded home at the far post.

The home team pressed for an equaliser but poor finishing and resolute defending kept them at bay as Motors held on for their second away league win of the season.
