WITTON played 64 minutes without Mike Moseley on Monday after the striker was sent off.

Moseley was spotted allegedly kicking Telford's Dean Craven and was given an instant red card

Yet Albion took the lead and it was not until the second half that they began to struggle for the want of an extra man.

They opened brightly enough and Adam Warlow, Mark Peers and Chris Gaghan all took pot shots before their own goal came under pressure, Jon Worsnop smothering Gary Hay's 20 yarder.

A floated Gaghan cross was headed onto his own cross bar by Richard Teesdale and, as Albion kept up the momentum, Stuart Brock tipped a shot from the former Barnton and Vics player on to the woodwork again.

Alex Brown and Steve Foster shot wide at either end, before Witton took the lead.

Mark Peers found Brown and he smartly found Warlow and the Crewe Alex youngster claimed his fourth Witton goal with the aid of a post.

Brock thwarted Brown after the break, but 10 minutes into the second half Telford equalised and things began to turn against Albion.

A corner was driven into the box and Indy Khela hit home from close range.

Albion still had plenty of possession but were unable to make it tell and when a move down the left broke down Telford move forward quickly and Steve Foster beat Worsnop from 25 yards.

The match ended in controversy.

Triston Hendricks cross from the left was missed by Brock and as Warlow strived to reach the loose ball Richard Beale looked to have impeded him. No penalty was awarded just a corner from the offender's touch.

Up came Worsnop, just as he did against Guiseley, but this time though the ball was cleared, though only as far as Liam Brownhill. However instead of launching the ball back into the danger area he dawdled and lost possession to Glenn Tolley who had an untended route to goal - and off he went to score the third.

WITTON: Worsnop; Spearritt, Pritchard, Barras, Hockenhull (Brownhill 7); Peers (Brown Alistair 73), Brown Alex, Jones, Gaghan (Hendricks 84); Moseley, Warlow.

Attendance: 1,897.
