IN an amazing Duke of Westminster Cup U11s match Tattenhall came out on top in a 12-goal extravaganza at Blacon Youth Tigers.

Stuart Sadler scored a hat-trick for the visitors, John Boughey added a brace and Lewis Reeves and MoM Lewis Jones completed the scoresheet. The Tigers' scorers were Lee Ibell, Dean Saunders (2) and Shane Clark (2).

Extra-time was needed to separate Blacon Youth and AFC Waverton who edged the game 3-2. Blacon's scorers were James Benyon and Joe Rigby, while Waverton replied through Joshua Morgan-Jones, Sam Manton and Jordan Hampshire.

Upton were too strong for newly formed Westminster Park, cruising to a 10-0 victory. nChester Nomads came away from Newton with a 5-0 U11s league victory, thanks to goals from Steven Sorochty, Michael McCormack, Richard Ludden and Jacob Lewis (2).

Pulford produced a slick passing performance to take the points at Malpas & District. Goals from Tom Crawford and Rory Benson gave the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead and a double after the break from Ryan Crofts sealed a 4-0 win in a competitive game. Pulford's MoM was midfielder Cameron Murdoch.

A goal straight from the kick-off allowed Waverton to take control against Pulford in the Duke of Westminster Cup U12s and they went on to win 3-1.

Pulford mounted a second-half fight-back and claimed a goal through striker Jamie Edwards-Try. The home team then piled on the pressure but two fine saves by Waverton keeper George Bryant kept them at bay.

Two second-half goals were enough to give a well-organised Great Sutton side a 2-1 victory over Saughall. Colts' Chris Youde made an outstanding penalty save before Sam Nicholas put them ahead. Saughall MoM was Shaun Arathoon.

Goals from Liam Roddy, Ben Skingsley, James Graham and Kyle Sullivan booked Blacon Youth's place in the semi-finals in a 4-1 win over Upton JFC and Westminster Park outgunned Malpas & District 8-0 with strikes from Daniel Callaghan, Gary Day (2), Sam Buckley (4) and Guy Malkin.

Bretton hit Vicars Cross Dynamos for six without reply in the Duke of Westminster Cup U13s, Alex Howarth, Dominic Jolliffe (3), Jordan Evans and Acer Hamilton on the mark. MoM for Dynamos was Daniel Roberts.

Under 14s title chasers Pulford were made to battle all the way against a younger Waverton side before winning by the odd goal in seven. Waverton scorers were Danny Smith, Chris Wightman and Olly Morgan-Jones with keeper Ben Williams the MoM.

Bretton overwhelmed determined Saughall Colts 10-0 in the Duke of Westminster Cup U15s and in the same competition Chester Nomads, who had Matthew Smith and Andrew Coates on target, lost 5-2 at home to Blacon Youth.

Westminster Park took advantage of an injury-hit Tarvin Athletic to win 10-0, Craig Thorburn, Nathan Green, Josh Armitage, Adam Byrne and Kieron Maddison sharing the goals. Tarvin's consolation was from Jamie Ankers.

Upton Panthers strengthened their grip on the U10s Cup by winning 2-0 at Blacon Youth with goals from George Mecklenburgh and Elliot Seville.

Saughall Colts kept in touch with a 4-1 win at Lache Park after Declan McHugh had put the hosts ahead. Adam Thorley, Matty Taylor (2) and Simon Rollins hit back for the colts. MoMs were Tom Jones (Colts) and Kirsty Lucas (Lache).

Westminster Park Wanderers produced their best performance of the season to win 5-0 at Waverton where Danny Ward, George Carroll (2) , Adam Joynson and Adam Black were the match winners. Dean Lawrence was MoM for the Wanderers and James Mottershead for Waverton.

Chester Nomads edged Tattenhall 2-1. nIn the Blacon derby in the U10s Shield the Tigers mauled the Lions 4-0 to avenge last week's defeat with goals by Ben Jones (2), Conner Corfe and new signing Dale McKay. MoM for Tigers was Rowan Brookes and Calum Kelsey for the Lions.

Upton Pumas stretched their winning run to six games with a 9-1 win over Westminster Park Hornets. The Puma's goals were shared by Jack Lawson, Luke Diamond, Luke Lawes and MoM John Savage. Tom Bowker replied.

Chester Nomad Wolves relied on an Arran Bell goal to beat Westminster Park Warriors whose MoM was Charlie McGowan. The Wolves' MoM was Louis Boswell.

Newton Eagles had Jack White on target as they beat Upton Jaguars. Their MoM was William Haslem.

Christleton Newscene kept their place at the top of the U9s Cup table beating Upton Panthers 2-1 with a brace from Liam Blake. Ben Mawr replied for Upton with Chris Brett their MoM. Christleton's MoM was Mike Warburton.

Upton Pumas recorded their first win in the second group phase, winning 2-0 at Newton Athletic with goals by Dean Goring and MoM Thomas Challinor.

JFC Boughton beat Castrol Athletic 2-0 with a double from Cameron Parker, while Matthew Gilmore took the MoM award.

A Jake Jones free-kick clinched Saughall Colts' 1-0 victory over Westminster Park Lions. Saughall's Jordan Rogers was their MoM and Joel Lang-mead took the Lions' award.

Under 9s Shield leaders Castrol Celtic returned to form to beat Upton Bobcats 4-1 with two goals each for Kieran Mc-Ginlay and Lewis Peacock with Josh Shaw their MoM.

Tattenhall also bounced back to beat Nomad Colts 5-1, including a Jonah Birkett hat-trick. Jack Payne Gill added the other goals.

Westminster Tigers notched their third win in a row, beating Lache Park 6-1 with goals from Yuseph Bakir (4), Jack Cox and Sammy Finneran Lerner. Joshua Kerns scored for Lache whose MoM was Mark Cante.

Nathan Roberts, Isaac Green and MoM Calum Owen shared the Upton Panthers goals in a 7-0 win over Saughall Colts in the U8s. The Saughall MoM was Lewis Jones.

Newton Athletic secured a 3-1 win at Upton Jaguars whose MoM was Alex Scott and Nathan Matthews their goalscorer.

Upton Pumas had a tough time at Lache Celtic before winning 5-3 with a hat-trick from MoM Matt McCaffrey and further strikes by Harry Hughes and Daniel Duff. Ryan McHugh and Jay Gilmore replied for Lache.

Westminster Park Lions continued to improve with a 2-2 draw at Chester Nomads, Jack Venables their scorer, while Waverton A had Alex Wilkinson, Sam Jones and William Doerr to thank for their goals in a 3-0 win at home to Castrol Rangers.

Newly formed Lache Park Rangers were no match for Westminster Park Tigers who had a 9-0 victory with goals from Jack Powell, Jordan Massey, Leon Langmead, James Ingleby Jones, Craig Lawrence and Charlie Derbyshire.

In the U7s JFC Boughton had MoM Nathan Ainsworth, Arron Haddock, Jack Lawson and Steve Davies on target in a 4-0 win over Waverton A. Westminster Park Tigers were 4-0 winners at Upton Jaguars with goals from Harrison Lawson, Matthew Prewitt Wagener and Ryan Woodham. Alexander Robinson was their MoM. nThe league now takes a break until February 27.
