IT was prize time for Newton Athletic JFC on Sunday as play-ers gathered for the club's end-of-season presentations.
More than 200 players were joined by parents, managers and coaches at the Cheshire County Sports Club in Upton.
It has been a successful year for Newton's junior section, with wins for the under 9s and U10s in the Chester Junior League Challenge Cup and a double triumph for the U12s in the Ellesmere Port Junior League and Eastham Junior League.
Chester Junior League championships were clinched by Newton's U13s, U14s and U15s.
'It's been another successful season,' said club secretary Phil Morgan. 'We're very pleased with what's been achieved.'
