VICARS Cross Dynamos finally picked up some points with a 4-2 win over Blacon Sports and Social Club in the Concorde Trophies Section A.

Paul Sweeney with a brace, Tim Reid and Chris Morris found the net for the Dynamos. Scott Chard scored twice in reply for the Blacon side.

At the top of the table, Dee Rangers had a net-bulging 6-4 win at Saltney Ferry to leapfrog them into second place. A hat-trick from Danny Andrews and a single from Shane Futcher gave Dee Miller a 4-2 victory at Tarvin Rex who replied through Shaun Page and Matt Edwards.

In Chester Chronicle Section B, Highfield regained top spot with a 5-2 win against Corner Pin thanks to braces from Adam Langton and Chris Larson and a Neil Fields strike. Upton YC exacted revenge for last week’s loss to Custom House, beating them 3-0. Jamie Pritchard (2) and Danny Jarrett scored.

Waverton came out on top in a bottom of the table clash to record their first points of the season with a 4-0 crushing of Boughton Hall. Waverton’s scorers were Lee Stephen (2), John Farrell and Paul Goodall.

In Dale Recycling Solutions Section C, second-placed Greyhound Inn registered a resounding 6-1 win over Red Lion. Scorers for the Saughall outfit were Kevin Garland (2), Ross Broadbent (2), Simon Shrubb and Michael Bryant. Greg Dudley replied for the Frodsham side.

Goals from James Cookson, David Burton, Ben Smith and Dave Downham gave Inter Barrow a 4-2 victory over St Theresa’s PC.
