FOOTBALL: Potential whistle-blowers are required for a new referees' training course at Acre Lane School, off Allport Lane, Bromborough.
The course runs from September 8-October 27 from 6.45-9pm each evening and costs £20, which includes the Laws of the Game booklet worth £4 and registration for the current season.
Nationwide League referee and former Premiership official Dave Pugh and ex-Premier League assistant referee Joe Copeland are both on hand to help out.
