FORMER Tranmere keeper Phil Palethorpe is the latest addition to the Blues' first-team squad.
The 19-year-old signed non-contract terms last Friday and has been an unused substitute in Chester's last two games.
Palethorpe joined Tranmere from an early age but was released in the summer.
The 6ft 2in stopper arrives at Chester to provide back-up to regular number one John Danby.
