THE wet weather once again took its toll on Saturday's fixture programme, with 15 of the scheduled 22 matches postponed.
Consistent performers Upton AA were in action, moving into fifth place in the Division One table thanks to a 3-2 eclipse of relegation-threatened Marine Reserves.
Upton's goals came from John Cadwallader, Danny Andrews and an own goal.
Both of the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup third round replays were postponed and competition rules state that, as the fixture has been cancelled two weeks in succession, the two ties will revert tomorrow to the original venues.
That means Christleton have home advantage against Division One rivals Castrol Social, but Ellesmere Port will have to do it all again at Mid-Cheshire League counterparts Styal.
In Division Two, Chester Nomads secured another three points in their bid for survival as Mark Crossen (2) and Chris Suddaby netted in a 3-2 win against Ashville Reserves. Danny Sherratt scored both replies for the visitors.
Maghull Reserves' 3-0 decision over Christleton Reserves featured a goal apiece from Liam Rafferty, Dave Parvas and Tommy Ainsworth.
