CHESTER City's Dave Cameron and Lee Woodyatt are to have talks with Nationwide Conference newcomers Tamworth in the next 48 hours, with a view to a permanent transfer to the Midlands club.
Both players were placed on the transfer list by City at the end of last season after failing to command regular places in the club's starting line up.
Cameron, who had a spell on loan at Telfor United last season, joined Chester from Lincoln City last summer, while Woodyatt is a graduate of the club's impressive YTS scheme.
In another development Adriano Rigoglioso, who has been the subject of two offers from City recently, has handed in a written transfer request to Morecambe manager Jim Harvey.
The former Liverpool trainee is believed to be anxious to move away from Christie Park.
Meanwhile, Chester have arranged a pre-season friendly match against crack Dutch outfit Den Haag. The game will be played at the Deva Stadium on Wednesday July 23.
Manager Mark Wright is hoping to clinch another friendly against continental opposition later this week, possibly against top Norwegian side FC Brann.
