The result of this semi-final replay never looked in doubt with Mond having a 4-0 interval lead.

Their MoM Ged Bushell opened the scoring with an eighth-minute lob.

Eddie Droughton headed home a Tudor cross while a Wayne Linnett corner was nodded in by Kevin Patterson and Scott Howard latched on to a Droughton pass for the fourth.

Bushell and Droughton added second-half goals.

Mid-Cheshire League outfit Padgate await them in the final on Easter Monday.

Victory means Mond's two senior sides have reached four finals between them.

Mond Rangers 2 Heswall 0: West Cheshire League Division Two title hopes were boosted as Mond's Tony Erickson scored in each half.

His first goal came after 10 minutes from a 20-yard low drive.

Only a save by Hughson denied Heswall an equal-iser before the break.

Erickson beat two defenders before firing home his second, but the bar denied him a hat-trick. Mond MoM: Dean Woolley.

Building Boards 4 Poulton Vics Res 0: Boards built on their 5-1 thrashing of Ashville with an excellent home win.

Karl Thomas, still rolling back the years, scored after only seven minutes, Kev Ward's shot having been parried.

Four minutes later, Ward smashed in an unstoppable shot from just inside the box.

Tommy King and Lee Evans were resolute in the home defence.

After half-time, Thomas slotted home again from great work by Gary Vaughan and Ward.

Mond reached their third club final of the season with impressive discipline and counter attacking against Upton in the WCL Bowl semi at Poulton Vics last Wednesday.

The best early chance fell to Connor who hammered across goal.

Upton's offside tactics continually frustrated Mond but in the 64th minute Erickson scored
