GOALS came from all quarters for Ellesmere Port League leaders Nomads U12s as they saw off Shore Villa 7-1.

Callum Hopwood (2), Matty Robinson, Eddie Charles-Jones, Stuart Swift, Ryan Cartwright and Dale Hodgkinson kept the Nomads on course against a hard-working Villa, with Robinson opening the scoring. Benjy Parry putting in a MoM performance in midfield.

The Nomad U11 side were unable to match visitors Ellesmere Port Rovers. A one-on-one saw Mitch Mowatt score and Callum Evington and Ethan Jones also netted but the game ended 5-3 with Rovers taking a first-minute lead. MoM was Alex Thornton.

Upton Blacks added another scalp after their 7-0 win last week. Travelling to Whitby Rangers, they came away 11-1 victors. MoM Jack Cartwright bagged six and Callum Parry, Fraser Harding, Sam Burgess, Brad Stanley and Reece Norton added to the tally.

In the Clwyd Junior League, Blacon Youth dismissed hosts Aston Park 14-0.

Blacon controlled from the start and kept good passing moves throughout the game.

Aaron Hassall came away with five, Ryan Mackay scored a hat trick, Charlie Nicholson bagged a brace, and one each came from Elliott Smith, Mikey Field, Jordan McLoughlin and Brandon Garland. MoM was high-scorer Hassall.
