IT WILL be interesting to see what team Brendan Rodgers puts out against his former club Swansea City at Anfield tomorrow.

I’d expect plenty of changes from the weekend but we need to make sure we’re strong enough to get the job done.

Win and we’re into the quarter-finals of the League Cup and suddenly there’s the possibility of going all the way again.

The final was a great day out last season and it would be great to go back to Wembley again.

I was impressed by the way Swansea performed against Man City at the weekend. They are a good footballing side and Rodgers knows them inside out.

The team Rodgers put out in the last round at West Brom performed beyond our expectations.

He might go down the same road again but we’re not playing again until Sunday so there is a decent period of rest after tomorrow night.

The one real dilemma for him is up front. I don’t see how you can risk playing Luis Suarez in the League Cup but without him we lack goals so maybe he will be on the bench.

Samed Yesil did very well at West Brom so I’d expect him to start.
