Grimsby Town inflicted a 3-0 defeat on an illness-hit Chester FC side at Blundell Park.

Shaun Pearson put the Mariners ahead before the break and Ross Hannah doubled the lead four minutes into the second half.

Blues boss Steve Burr had to replace unwell trio Gareth Roberts, Craig Hobson and Michael Kay, and Jon Worsnop saved a penalty before Nathan Arnold completed the scoring in time added on.
