Malpas 0 Congleton Town Res 4

THE rebuilding work at Cheshire League Division Two side Malpas continues as boss Tony Ennion battles the spectre of relegation with an ever-changing team.

“I am building a team from scratch,” said Ennion. “It isn’t easy, Malpas is a small village competing with Whitchurch, Tarporley and the Welsh border, but we want to survive and build.”

Tarporley Vics 1 Crewe FC 1: A seven-week break, suspensions and injuries saw Vics struggle against Crewe.
