TWO Josh Leary strikes helped Halfwayhouse Celtic overcome Frodsham Vets in a Chester and District League Division One goal-fest.

Celtic eventually ran out 5-2 winners.

But Mike Jones went one better for Manor Athletic, scoring a hat-trick in their 4-1 defeat of Rangers Break. Steve Fletcher got the other.

Ashton were also goal hungry in their 4-2 win over Barrow Athletic. There were also wins for Kelma over Neston Nomads (2-1), while Tarvin Athletic and Duddon United shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

In Division Two, a Tom Arnold hat-trick helped Lodge Bar to an impressive win, 5-2, at Hoole Rangers Reserves.

Peacock 09 were helped on their way to a 3-2 win at Waggon & Horses Reserves with a brace from Jamie Hughes.

Chester Celtic also got a good win. Goals from Dan Harrison, Will Collins, John Collins and Louis Bebington saw off Uberlube.

In Division Three, Lache followed up cup success against Groves Celtic with a 6-1 win at Crossway Reserves. Liam McGovern and Matty Tarbuck both scored twice.
