A TEN-GOAL tie between Waggon and Horses and City Bar was abandoned in extra time due to a serious injury.

The fourth round Chester FA Cup clash sat 6-4 in Waggon’s favour at the time.

Chester Nomads won their tie 3-1 on penalties after finishing 2-2 in extra time against Peacock 09.

Dan Stevenson and Jamie Hughes scored for Peacock.

In the Queensferry Sports Premier Division, Crossway beat Bebington Athletic Res 2-1.

Chris Larson (5), Matty Cross (3) Matty Mackin, Matty Carline and John Dowridge scored as Highfield Athletic hit Hoole Rangers with an 11-1 defeat.

Kelsall suffered a 4-2 defeat to Newton Bears, Joey Waters and Paul Davies each scoring twice, as did Kelsall’s James Thompson.

Parkgate lost 2-1 at home to Helsby, but Sutton Way Villa won 2-1 against Tarvin Athletic, Nathan Eccleston and Lee Salisbury. Gary Handley was on target for Tarvin.
