It's 20 years today since football came home.
The first major international football tournament held on English soil since the 1966 World Cup, Euro 96 captured the imagination of a nation and provided plenty of enduring memories.
Paul Gascoigne's superb solo effort against Scotland and his 'dentist's chair' celebration that followed, not forgetting England's dismantling of the Netherlands and the inevitable penalty shootout heartache against Germany, the eventual winners of the competition.
