WHILE this defeat was only the second the Motormen have suffered on their travels in the Nationwide Conference North in their last eight away fixtures, more worrying is the fact, it was their third on the trot in which they have failed to score.
The high-flying hosts took the lead on eight minutes, when Motors failed to clear properly from a corner and former Burscough hot-shot Talbot fired in a shot that took a deflection.
The Motormen enjoyed a decent spell themselves and Woodyatt had a 30-yard drive clip the top of the home crossbar, but on 39 minutes, Droylsden doubled their advantage through Cameron, following another corner.
There was still everything to play for on the resumption, but after Banim wasted another good chance, Droylsden moved further ahead on 54 minutes, when Talbot glanced home a header.
Moments later, Cumiskey put Wright through, only for the Motors striker to fire wide.
And another defensive error enabled home substitute Murphy to notch number four.
