'HURTING' Airbus UK player-manager Gareth Owen is boosted by the return of four key players for tomorrow's crucial basement-battle against Caernarfon (2.30pm).

Defensive linchpin John Davies, the versatile Leigh Williams and strikers Darren Williams and James McIntosh will be included in the squad for the visit of the Canaries to the Airfield. Defender Gareth Sudlow is also fit after limping off in Saturday's 5-1 turnover at Haverfordwest.

Sudlow's withdrawal six minutes into the second half left the Wingmakers desperately short of experience at the back, and the hosts took full advantage to condemn the Broughton outfit to a fourth defeat on the spin.

Owen knows nothing less than victory will do over a Caernarfon side who have also lost their last four.

The Airbus boss said: 'We are all desperate to move up the table. I'm being honest when I say I'm really hurting.'

Owen will be without keeper Adam McGee tomorrow, along with long-terms absentees Steve Hopkins and James Hussaney.

McGee missed the trip to Haverfordwest and has failed to recover from a back strain, so his place will again go to Simon Williams, who made his debut on Saturday.

Owen absolved his new stopper, signed from Upton AA, of blame.

He said: 'We conceded five goals but he couldn't be blamed for any of them. It's a team game and we all must accept responsibility.'
