IF you've always thought you're better than David Beckham at doing Keepy Uppy with a football, now's your chance to prove it.

Auditions for the UK's very first Keepy Uppy team are coming to Manchester this Sunday.

Try-outs are taking place across the country and the organisers are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they can keep it up with the best of them.

You don't have to be a record holder but if you like to show off your ball-juggling wizardry to your friends then you may well be just the person organisers are looking for.

Hopefuls will audition in front of a panel of judges that will include Premier League coaches, club scouts, ex-pros and agents to become a member of the 100-strong freestyler squad that will be touring the UK later in the year.

Dan Magness, one of the world's top freestylers, will be on hand to train the successful candidates and help them hone their skills.

For the member of the freestyler team that is crowned the King or Queen of Keepy Uppy there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go on a training weekend with some of the world's best football players, including Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane, Roberto Carlos and Freddie Ljungberg.

The audition will take place at the Trafford JJB Soccer Dome in Trafford Park and the doors will open at 9am.

Only 20 people will be selected to go to the national final on May 7.

Entrants must be 16 or over and bring soft-soled footwear as well as a football they are comfortable with.
