Aldershot Town

The Shots have taken defender Nick Anderton on a month's loan from Preston North End.

Having progressed through the Deepdale ranks, the 19-year-old left-back has been loaned to Chorley, Gateshead and Barrow AFC.

Barrow AFC

Ex-Carlisle United winger Dave Symington has penned a three-month contract with the Bluebirds.

Symington made 68 appearances for Carlisle but an injured knee hampered the 21-year-old's progress last season.

Boreham Wood

Wood boss Ian Allinson has captured midfielder Conor Clifford and borrowed striker Jamie Lucas from Bristol Rovers.

Clifford started his career at Chelsea before moving to Southend United and spent the end of last season on loan to Barnet, helping them win the title.

Lucas, 19, scored 13 times in 21 games on loan at Weston-super-Mare last term.

Cheltenham Town

The Robins have brought in striker Josh Cooke on loan from Swindon Town and ex-Tranmere Rovers midfielder James Rowe.

Cooke, 18, arrives on a deal until January 2016 while 23-year-old Rowe has signed a one-year deal.

However, forward JJ Hooper has signed for Port Vale despite agreeing to join Cheltenham last week.

Dover Athletic

Jack Parkinson and Matt Young have moved to the Crabble Athletic Ground.

Parkinson, 25, arrives from Maidstone United and turned down a deal from Leyton Orient. He can either play in central defence or midfield.

Young, 21, was released from Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season. The defender made 21 appearances for Carlise United on loan.

Eastleigh

The Spitfires have completed the signing of experienced full-back Dan Harding.

The 31-year-old was with Nottingham Forest last season though he had a loan spell with Millwall. He made over 350 Football League appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion, Leeds United, Ipswich Town, Southend United, Reading and Southampton.

FC Halifax Town

England Futsal international goalkeeper Jordan Porter has signed a deal for the 2015-16 season having been on trial at The Shay.

Gateshead

Former Notts County left-back Jordan Cranston has joined the Heed on a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old began his career with hometown club Wolverhampton Wanderers and spent time on loan at Nuneaton Town. He had a spell on loan at Lincoln City last season.

Guiseley AFC

The Lions have signed former Leeds United pair midfielder Zac Thompson and goalkeeper Daniel Atkinson.

Thompson, 22, and Atkinson, 20, were both released from Elland Road at the end of last season.

Kidderminster Harriers

Harriers have signed defender Rob Taylor on a non-contract basis and borrowed two teenagers from West Bromwich Albion.

Left-back Taylor, 30, left Tranmere Rovers at the end of last season and is best known for his six years at Port Vale.

Eighteen-year-old forwards Andre Wright and Tahvon Campbell have joined on youth loans until January.

Macclesfield Town

Macc have signed goalkeeper Shwan Jalal, forward John Marsden and taken defender William Boyle on loan from Huddersfield Town.

Iraq international Jalal, 31, was released from Northampton Town at the end of last season. His former clubs include Woking, Peterborough United and AFC Bournemouth.

Ex-Southport frontman Marsden impressed boss John Askey during a trial while 19-year-old William Boyle had a loan spell with Kidderminster Harriers last term.

Southport

The Sandgrounders have signed Gary Jones, Liam Nolan and Alfons Fosu-Mensah.

Experienced midfielder Jones, 38, made over 600 Football League appearances at Swansea City, Barnsley, Notts County and Bradford City.

Twenty-year-old midfielder Nolan left Crewe Alexandra at the end of last season after making 29 first-team appearances for the Railwaymen.

Amsterdam-born striker Fosu-Mensah, 21, has had spells with Almere City and FC Oss.

Torquay United

Gulls boss Paul Cox has brought in no fewer than six new faces in the past week.

Cox has signed 21-year-old ex-Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess and 25-year-old forward Alex Fisher, who worked under him at Mansfield Town.

Jamie Richards and Malachi Lavelle-Moore have signed non-contract forms and 18-year-old forward Joe Quigley and midfielder Josh Carmichael, 20, have joined on loan from AFC Bournemouth.

Tranmere Rovers

Ex-Aldershot Town winger Adam Mekkis has signed a deal until January at Prenton Park.

The 23-year-old started his career at Reading and has been on the books of Barnet and Dover Athletic.

Woking

Striker Scott Rendell has been ruled out for the season after sustaining a serious knee injury in the defeat at Tranmere Rovers.

The Cards have signed winger Kadell Daniel, who was released from Charlton Athletic at the end of last season. He had loan spells at Hayes & Yeading United and Torquay United last term.
